Med3 Fit Notes

If you need to request a Med3 fit note from the GP for your employer, remember you can self-certify for the first 7 days of your illness.

If your note is for the JobCentre to assist with your benefits, please speak to reception as it may not be necessary that you have an appointment to request a continuous note.

Please note: GPs can not give you a Med3 for a period of time when you have not been seen by said GP, nor will GPs back date Med3 to cover a period of illness that you have not been consulted for.
